Blood Bank Advocacy Program

Every month we have people selflessly come to us willing to have their pet donate blood. Because of our strict testing, we are unable to accept everyone into the program. But being disqualified as a donor doesn't mean you can't still help us save lives!

We have started the BB Advocacy Program so anyone who wants to help is able.

 

How Can you Help?

  • Wear a green BB bandanna to your local dog parks, groomers, doggie daycare, and out around town.
  • Post fliers and brochures at your favorite local pet-related and non-pet related places.
  • Talk to your local dog organizations or set up a visit/talk from the BB.
  • Help post information online.
  • Talk to all your friends and ask them to sign up their pet to donate blood.
  • Attend pet-friendly events and talk about the BB
  • Be available for news interviews when the media do stories about the BB.
