Yev Belov graduated with a Bachelors in Business in Technology Management. Prior to joining the ACCES team in 2012 as the Information Technology Technician, Yev had spent nine years working in the veterinary field. His past experience inlcuded raising puppies for Summit Assistance Dogs.

Joshua Martin joined the ACCES team in 2008, but has worked in veterinary day practices as a receptionist, kennel and veterinary assistant since 2000. Joshua also gained additional animal care experience as a volunteer at Sarvey Wildlife Center and as a dogsledder. His special interests are in veterinary medicine, biochemistry and genetics. Josh owns two cats, Possum and Panda, who are part of the ACCES Blood Bank donor program.

Lorraine McLaughlin began her career in the veterinary field at ACCES in 2013 as a client services representative. Prior to joining ACCES, Lorraine had worked extensively in retail sales including work at Eddie Bauer and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. All of which gave Lorraine a strong customer service ethic. New to the Northwest, Lorraine moved to this area after graduating from the State University of New York in Plattsburgh in 2010.

Riki Strough, LVT, joined ACCES in 2005 and is currently the ACCES operations and purchasing manager. Prior to joining ACCES, Riki had worked in the veterinary field in California since 1998. Her interests in the field extend to emergency medicine and orthopedics.

Cynthia Swanson graduated from Apollo College in 2005 and worked at a general practice before joining us as a veterinary assistant in December 2008. She can be found these days handling things at the reception desk or taking your pet's vitals. She enjoys radiation therapy and says the opportunity she has to pet all of our cute patients is one of her favorite aspects of the job. In her spare time, she enjoys white water rafting, hiking, swimming, skiing and gardening with her husband and daughters. 

Beverly Thiessen began her career in the veterinary field as a receptionist at a day practice in 2008 as a receptionist. Prior to joining the ACCES client services team in 2013, she had worked for nearly 20 years in customer service positions. Beverly also completed her nursing certification at El Toro Community College in El Toro, Texas in 1984. Active in the community, Beverly has volunteered with the Northwest Rottweiler Fanciers since 1995 and has assisted at herding trials since 2000.

Alex Uhrich graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biocultural Anthropology from Western Washington University and is currently working towards her Master’s degree with a goal of pursing a doctorate. Alex has worked with ACCES on and off since 2009 and has worked in the veterinary industry since she was 16 years old. Alex has also spent time volunteering at PAWS in Lynnwood.

Suzanne Waltner joined the ACCES client services team in 2013. Prior to joining ACCES, Suzanne had already spent nearly three years working in the veterinary field and more than seven years in client services. She is currently fulfilling her pre-requirements at Highline Community College with the plan to enroll in the Pierce Community College Veterinary Technician Program. Suzanne is actively involved with the community and has volunteered previously with King County Animal Services as a “kitty cuddler.” In her spare time, she loves fishing, hiking and pretty much anything outside.
