If you search the internet for "flame point Siamese", you will find pictures that look exactly like this gorgeous guy. Sully is probably not a purebred, but one has clearly contributed to his genes. He has flame point coloring and blue eyes that are a little bit crossed, giving him a slightly goofy look. Crossed eyes are considered undesirable by breeders, but they are not harmful to the cat.
True to his Siamese heritage, Sully enjoys human company. He will follow you around and check out what you are doing. Sully has lived with a teleworker, and his computer skills include strolling across the keyboard at just the right time to help you with that email or instant message. He will happily tune up his vocal cords during an important teleconference. In case you are wondering, he seems to lack the volume and range that Siamese cats are known for. Sully's typical noise is a closed mouth trill, or a little chirp.
Sully loves to play with toys, and especially for his person to play with him. Favorite things are a feather toy on a wand, or just a length of ribbon. He can do jumps up to four feet high after a flying toy, and this is a good way to wear him out. Sully enjoys a bit of catnip from time to time. He has a keen sense of smell and can find a small spec of catnip that has fallen on the carpet.
This kitty can be very frightened in new situations, so a quiet home and lots of patience will allow him to grow into the wonderful cat that he is. Patience and gentle handling will win his heart. At the Seattle Humane Society, Sully will have as long as it takes to find the right home.
As with all of our cats, Sully has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and a collar with his own ID tag. If you think Sully might be the right guy for you, stop by and meet him at the intersection of I-405 and I-90.
